This refers to a level of readiness. Historically we have never utilized this level but as concerned citizens study the Third Jihad Manifesto they should get more concerned than our current government is indicating.
The highest level we were raised to was Defcon 3 after September 11, 2001.
After our government accidently fell into the Islamic Third Jihad Manifesto when they broke up their planned bombing of a Jewish Synagogue in the Bronx. This was reported by the New York Times on May 22, 2009.
